VTAudit specializes in premium audits, inspections, tele-underwriting and surveys for the insurance industry. Six years ago, our first step into the insurance field included the development of a fully electronic model for tele-underwriting. Since then, we have deployed an array of initiatives to service the insurance industry in assessing and calculating risk.

Our first goal was to locate the best employees for audits and surveys. The hiring of quality employees is accomplished through our remote workforce, the VT (Virtual Technology) in VTAudit. After attending a training program at VTAudit headquarters for up to 4 weeks, we allow our telephone and physical type auditors and survey associates the privilege of working at home. This program has elevated the average age of our audit/survey staff to 47 years old and reduced our turnover rate to less than 10% annually. The remote associate works on our system in real-time and has an experience no different than one who might be in-house working in an office cubicle. Our employees are motivated, mature and highly skilled. While other companies are challenged to hire experienced auditors, VTAudit has a waiting list of experienced auditors hoping for an opportunity to join our team.

Our second goal was to streamline and automate the audit/inspection service and still deliver a high quality product. By utilizing our own web-based system, called HOTDOG, we guide our auditors/inspectors through the information gathering process. Additionally, our proprietary technology displays the "filing cabinet" of supporting documentation to the auditor such as federal 941, State UE, Monthly Payroll, etc. Our intelligent system directs the user through the audit with smart cues of classification descriptions and rules. Once the telephone or physical type audit is completed with the insured, the information in every single audit that we do is reviewed in its entirety by our Quality Assurance department before the final results are distributed to your underwriting team.
